Improving integrated water resources management in mountain river system

Aims

Capacity building to harmonize integrated water resources management.

Objectives

The project aimed to enhance and improve capacity to carry out harmonized integrated water resources management (IWRM) in mountain river systems like the Brahmaputra and to transfer IWRM expertise, approaches and tools, based on studies carried out in the Upper Danube River Basin (UDRB) in Europe, and the Upper Brahmaputra River Basin (UBRB) in South Asia.
