What Works for Women: Proven Approaches for Empowering Women Smallholders and Achieving Food Security
This briefing paper is the result of collaboration between nine different agencies, sharing lessons learned from working with women smallholders in order to close the gender gap in agriculture. Taking note of multiple case studies, this paper discusses the various lessons learned, including the benefits of collective action, the importance of access to productive resources, and the need to focus on the underlying gender inequalities.
