Knowledge Management Workshop was organized on the theme “Harnessing Adaptation Knowledge in the Asia Pacific Region” on 28 February 2011 at the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel in Bangkok. The workshop aimed at identifying knowledge partners to link regional climate change adaptation knowledge through a knowledge sharing system that promotes dialogue and exchange of knowledge, information, and methods within and between countries on climate change adaptation. It also sought to link existing and emerging networks and initiatives. Facilitating this linkage is the use of web portals that together help to bridge the gaps between knowledge providers and users – in the end enabling all stakeholders to arrive at an informed response to the challenges presented by climate change.
