The scoping assessment on adaptation to climate change in the Philippines was conducted in March 2012. This assessment draws on work in progress by the Regional Climate Change Adaptation Knowledge Platform for Asia, also known as Adaptation Knowledge Platform (AKP), to disseminate and exchange knowledge about adaptation among a wider audience. The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) has been identified as the national implementation partner of AKP in the Philippines to support the process of CCA knowledge building and sharing, particularly among the local government units (LGUs) which have been given the primary task of taking action on climate change. ASoG, as part of its initial tasks, conducted the scoping assessment of CCA in the Philippines
