This policy brief provides an overview of the impact of climate change and natural hazards on fishing communities in Bangladesh. It estimates loss and damage and ways of addressing them through insurance risk transfer, and describes ways to proactively manage coastal risk. This policy brief paper was an outcome of a research initiated by Climate Change Unit of Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB).
