Mapping Hotspots of Climate Change and Food Insecurity in the Global Tropics

A report by the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture, and Food Security (CCAFS), this study identifies hot-spots of climate-induced food insecurity. The study combines data from food insecure regions with models from IPCC to measure vulnerability based on exposure and sensitivity to climate change and coping capacity. The report suggests that East and West Africa, India, parts of Mexico and Northeastern Brazil will experience the largest fall in the growing season.
