CARE International, chair of the NGO Climate Change Working Group (CCWG) in Vietnam, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Environment for conducting various policy dialogues. CARE has conducted several workshops under this MOU with participation from relevant stakeholders around a number of climate change issues in Vietnam, including on climate finance, and the role of community based mangroves management for responding to climate change. This draft minutes of the recent workshop summarize the discussions on the community mangrove management for climate change adaptation. The workshop was organized by the Vietnam Climate Change Working Group (CCWG), in association with the Network of VietnameseNGOs on Climate Change (VNGO&CC) and the Department of Hydrology, Meteorology and Climate Change ‐ Ministry of Natural
Resource and Environment(DHMCC ‐ MONRE).
