Adaptation Learning Mechanism (ALM) Adaptation Learning Mechanism (ALM) lunched in 2007 by the United Nations Development Programme, along with other agency partners, in response to the information gap and to address existing adaptation knowledge needs,. UNDP is facilitating the ALM in close partnership with the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), UNEP, the World Bank and specialized UN agencies including FAO. The ALM represents a collaborative, global learning process, with leadership, facilitation and strong participation by Southern institutions. |

Disaster Risk Reduction Project Portal for Asia and the Pacific (DRR Project Portal) The portal was established in 2005 to collect information on DRR projects and initiatives in Asia and the Pacific on both country and national levels. It serves as a regional knowledge hub regarding mountain ecosystems – to help develop an economically and environmentally stable mountain ecosystem. |

Mangroves for the Future (MFF) MFF creates a network between governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and community-based organizations to help manage the coastal ecosystems throughout the Indian Ocean. MFF focus on the different countries that were affected by the Indian Ocean Tsunami in 2004. They are committed to all types of coastal ecosystems like coral reefs, estuaries, wetlands etc, but their major focus is on mangroves. |
| Science and Education for Agriculture and Development (SEARCA) SEARCA was established in 1966 by the Southeast Asian Ministries of Education Organization to provide the region with high quality graduate studies in the field of agriculture. Currently SEARCA is in its 9th Five Year Plan (1 July 2009 – 30 June 2014). The two key themes that SEARCA revolves around are natural resource management and agricultural competiveness. |

Korea Adaptation Center for Climate Change(KACCC) KACCC was established in 2009 by the Ministry of Environment at the Korea Environment Institute (KEI). They conduct comprehensive research on climate change adaptation, develop strategies and measures, and establish networks at the national and international level and allow for the adoption of different adaptation strategies. |
| Nepal Climate Change Knowledge Management Center(NCCKMC) NCCKMC is established by the Ministry of Environment, as part of the National Adaptation Program of Action to Climate change (NAPA), along with the support from DANIDA, DFID, GEF and UNDP Nepal. This portal contains information on climate change knowledge, opportunities, people, organizations and networks – it provides climate practitioners a platform to conduct research, network, discuss and share knowledge. |
