The World Youth Foundation is an international nongovernmental organization which was launched in 1994 with the aim to promote research, development and documentation of youth programmes beneficial to youths worldwide.

Since its inception, the Foundation has provided a platform for an interchange of ideas among youth Through its programmes the Foundation seeks to empower young people on a range of issues such as population, HIV/AIDS, human rights, education, environment, sustainable development, terrorism, racism, entrepreneurship, culture and diversity, drug and substance abuse, human rights, education, youth empowerment, globalization etc. In April this year, it held the 4-day “International Training Workshop on Climate Change Adaptation & Disaster Risk Reduction” at Melaka, a UNESCO world heritage site, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia, Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water, and Ministry of Natural Resources.
