Climate Change 2014: Impacts, Adaptation, and Vulnerability – report from Working GroupII of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
The 10th Session of Working Group II (WGII-10) was held from 25 to 29 March 2014 in Yokohama, Japan. At the Session, the Summary for Policymakers (SPM) of the Working Group II contribution to the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report (WGII AR5) was approved and the underlying scientiᴀc and technical assessment accepted. The report said that the effects of climate change are already occurring on all continents and across the oceans. The world, in many cases, is ill-prepared for risks from a changing climate. The report also concluded that there are opportunities to respond to such risks, though the risks will be difficult to manage with high levels of warming.
