The Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System (RIMES) is organising this workshop with the objective to assists participants in paleoflood data collection, analysis, and application in flood risk estimation. Paleoflood hydrology helps produce a long-term flood record by reconstructing the magnitude and frequency of past floods. Paleoflood hydrology further enables quantification of flood risks in areas that are short of flood records and developing flood risk management plans. For more information, please visit
