What is this course about?
Managing Human Resources is a key strategic function in the modern organization. HR tasks are everyone’s responsibility, with line managers playing an important role. As a Human Resources professional you will increasingly be called upon to be the expert, providing support and guidance to other departments in that respect. You need to have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Human Resources Management (HRM), from planning, to recruitment, performance management rewards and remuneration, training and development; from engagement until the employee leaves the organization.

PARTICIPANTS
This course is specifically meant for HR and non-HR managers, team leaders, project coordinators responsible for human resources or for advisers who are responsible to develop and introduce HR systems and procedures in their organisation.

COURSE OBJECTIVES 
By the end of this course you will have expanded your knowledge of systems for managing your HR, as well as your sensitivity and skills of how to introduce and apply them. You will understand the concept of HRM in comparison to personnel management and learn about the more strategic role of the HR manager in the organisation. You will have looked into all the aspects of managing HR including job analysis and formulating job descriptions, recruitment methods, reviewing and appraising performance and providing feedback and coaching to your staff. You will develop a realistic personal action plan to improve the management of the HR within your function or your organisation.
