About us
Japan NUS Co., Ltd. (JANUS) is energy- and environmental-related consultancy service company and one of the JGC holdings group companies. It was founded in 1971 with capital and technology from NUS Corporation and JGC Corporation, and additional capital participation by Tokyo Electric Power Company with the business objective of providing nuclear power-related consulting and engineering services. Since then, the company began its environmental consulting business in 1972, one of the first in the country. In the aspect of environmental consultancy, JANUS provides climate simulation services, such as flood simulation, precipitation simulation and wind simulation by using WRF-Hydro (Weather Research and Forecasting Model Hydrological modeling system).
