Mungbean cultivation by contract farming
Salt damage has become more serious due to coastal erosion and saltwater infiltration through rivers and groundwater due to the sea level rise from climate variability. euglena Co., Ltd. worked on mung bean cultivation in salt-damaged areas from 2014 to 2015 by introducing agricultural technology based on proper cultivation management. After the above period, through the mung bean cultivation business in Bangladesh, activities such as business collaboration with the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) has been continued. It contributes to improve living standards by eliminating poverty by creating employment opportunities for farmers, to increase income by improving the yield and quality of mung beans, and to supply nutritious mung beans to the domestic market and Rohingya refugee camps at low prices.
